Health care

Healthcare is the primary necessity of any individual, and in theory at least, every single person living in a country is, by the very nature of the policy of the country entitled to healthcare facilities. However, like the sad state of many things, healthcare is not very well provided to each and every citizen.

First and foremost, costs of healthcare have reached the sky high price and it is hardly possible for an individual to be able to afford paying doctor’s fees. A person is entitles to an insurance cover form his work place, but there are several gaps in this to. Only people who have jobs of more than 8 hours a day qualify for an insurance cover according to the company’s policy. Moreover, there is no family and dependant’s insurance for members who do not work.

There is an entire chain of operations in the country that get affected because of poor healthcare facilities of the State. The rationale behind providing one’s workers with an insurance cover is that they can go see a doctor even if a slightest thing is bothering them, and not wait till the condition has worsened to see if it is not worth spending on doctors’ fees. Various jobs in the country depend on the work done by able bodied men, despite computers and machines. A sick country would man loss of precious man days that are absolutely imperative for the growth of the country. So this entire cycle gets disrupted if people fall sick. This should be all the more reason for the state to ensure that proper healthcare facilities are provided to its citizens.

Healthcare has blown to be a serious problem these days. There are several companies that provide workers with insurance cover and there are also individuals who take up policies individually. This has lead to a great increase in demand for medical facilities and the insurance companies, especially, are just not being able to keep up with the costs because of increased spending on health because of growth in insurance.

Lack of healthcare facilities and improper pricing has taken drastic proportion in recent times. There are several cases where the insurance companies have had to reject the application and other medical papers as unfit for coverage. This is simply because of their own high costs of running; it has become impossible to meet the claims of so many clients. And who is to check how arbitrary or how transparent this process of acceptance of claim and its rejection is.
